Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Pierce, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The Work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to rehabilitate existing sanitary lift stations to at a minimum meet the current standards of the St. Lucie West Services District (SLWSD). The Work shall result in complete, operational, and code-compliant facilities. Improvements generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Furnishing and installing new electrical control panels, RTU control panels, and associated conduit and wiring. Applying Tnemec protective coatings to wet wells and above-ground piping. Furnishing and installing fencing, concrete driveway aprons, above-ground valve assemblies, square concrete wet well lids, safety grates, and aluminum hatch covers. Providing all necessary piping, fittings, wiring, supports, and appurtenances to deliver a fully functional and maintainable installation consistent with SLWSD standards. The following specific items shall be included as part of the rehabilitation work at each lift station, unless otherwise noted in the "General Description of Work by Lift Station": Any and all questions relative to this project shall be directed in email only to Roberto Cabrera at rcabrera@ct-eng.com no later than 12:00 PM EST, December 4, 2025. Proposals are requested for construction services for the refurbishment of 16 wastewater lift stations. The proposer must have completed three improvements similar in quality and scope to this project, possess a minimum bonding capacity of $1,000,000 from an acceptable surety company or provide other acceptable security, and be authorized to do business in Florida. Each proposal must include a proposal bond or certified cashier's check for at least five percent of the total bid to be retained if the successful proposer fails to execute a contract and file the required Performance and Payment Bonds and insurance within fourteen calendar days after the Notice of Award. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed opaque package, bearing the name of the proposer and project, and include one original and one electronic copy in PDF. Proposals not meeting these requirements or missing required documents may be disqualified. Questions about the project must be submitted by email only. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, modify the work, award the contract in whole or part, and waive minor or technical irregularities. The overall Work under this Contract shall be completed within a period of twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) months from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP), as directed by the OWNER. The timing and sequencing of lift station rehabilitation shall be established by the OWNER based on operational needs, funding availability, and coordination with St. Lucie West Services District (SLWSD).The OWNER anticipates a development schedule of approximately one (1) lift station per month, beginning on or about February 2026, until all sixteen (16) lift stations have been rehabilitated. This schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the OWNER to accommodate budgetary, operational, or seasonal considerations. The OWNER reserves the right to adjust the order, timing, or number of lift stations assigned for construction at any given time. The anticipated completion time is around February 2028
