Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Diamondhead, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.

The work included in the contract shall consist primarily of construction of a lighted boardwalk with nature observatory platforms. Bids must be submitted on the standard forms provided in the contract documents by the Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or a Bidder's Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, as bid security. Bidders may also be required to submit a current financial statement if requested by the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with "Jourdan River Boardwalk 2025-015" and the Certificate of Responsibility Number. Bids may be deposited at the City of Diamondhead or submitted online at the designated project website before the specified deadline. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals will be considered. All interpretations of drawings and specifications must be directed to the project manager at Chiniche Engineering & Surveying by email, and all addenda must be acknowledged with the proposal. No bid may be withdrawn within ninety (90) days after the date of the actual bid opening without the Owner's consent. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities. Work must comply with all Federal, State, and Local Regulations and Codes.
