The City of Kingsland is seeking proposals for the construction of 5 sidewalks. There will not be a pre-proposal meeting. All proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number, title, opening date and name of bidder shall be clearly displayed on the outside of the sealed envelope. The City of Kingsland is looking for a qualified contractor to construct 5' wide sidewalks as listed in the included chart. Sidewalks to be 5' wide 4" thick with 3000 psi concrete with fiber reinforcement. To include the following: Compact base before concrete to be placed. Walkway shall be constructed with a 2% side slope as not to hold water on roadway (see typical drawing) Control joints at 5' intervals (cut in or tooled) Concrete will be finished to a lite broom perpendicular to travel ADA mats at all intersections Finish grade, seed and hay all slopes and bare dirt areas (see typical drawing) The City of Kingsland reserves the right, at any time, to modify, waive, or otherwise vary the terms and conditions of this RFP including, but not limited to, the deadlines for submissions and submission requirements. The City further reserves the right to cancel or withdraw this RFP at any time. The City also reserves the right to negotiate mutually acceptable contract terms with the successful proposer.
