Renovation of an educational facility in Naperville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Sealed bids are solicited for the Birkett Center Renovations project in Naperville, IL, for multiple bid packages including: Demolition, Masonry, Structural Steel, Millwork, Window & Glazing, Drywall & CFMF, Tile & Stone, Acoustical Ceiling & Wall Panels, Carpet & Resilient Flooring, Painting, Lab Equipment & Casework, Elevators, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and General Trades. Bids must be submitted in opaque, sealed envelopes clearly marked with project and bid package information. All bids must comply with the bidding instructions and include a bid bond equal to ten percent of the base bid. Incomplete, late, or non-conforming bids will not be accepted. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or waive irregularities, and will award to the lowest responsible bidder based on conformity to specifications, delivery terms, and quality of serviceability. Contractors must comply with Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. Bidding documents and instructions are available online and updated via Building Connected, a web-based bidding software.
