An opportunity is provided for qualified contractors to bid on addition and renovation work at Naperville North High School. The scope of work includes Selective Demolition, Cast-in-place Concrete, Precast Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Carpentry, General Trades, ACM Metal Paneling, Roofing, Aluminum and Glass, Ceramic Tile, Terrazzo, Acoustic Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Low Voltage, Audio Visual, Fire Alarm, Earthwork, Site Utilities, Site Concrete, Site Paving, and Landscaping. Prime Trade Contractors for the work will be assigned to the Construction Manager, Pepper Construction. A 10% bid security must accompany the bid and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract value. Bidders must have previous experience on projects of similar size and meet criteria established by Naperville CUSD 203. A Contractor's Qualifications Statement must be submitted at the time of bid or already be on file. Compliance with Prevailing Wages for DuPage County and all equal employment practices is required. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the bids.
