The scope of work includes maintenance services for Native restoration areas in several park locations for one calendar year, 2026, with an alternate for a second year, 2027. Maintenance will be carried out according to the plan proposed by the chosen contractor and must meet performance standards. Instructions to bidders include: - Sealed bids will be accepted at the Naperville Park District Administration Building until the specified deadline, after which bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. - Bid documents may be requested by email and will be provided digitally at no cost. - All questions about the project or bidding requirements must be submitted in writing by the stated deadline. - A bid bond is not required. - If the contract sum is $150,000 or more, a Surety Bond (Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bond) for 100% of the contract amount must be provided prior to commencing work; this may also be required for lower amounts at the District's discretion, and the surety must meet specified financial ratings. - The Park District reserves the right to reject any non-responsive or non-responsible bids or all bids and waive any informality or technicality in any bid in its interest.
