Kennedy and Washington JHS FACS/PLTW Renovations and Addition project includes Bid Group #1, Bid Packages 1-16: General Trades, Concrete, Structural Steel, Demolition, Masonry, Roofing, Plumbing, Painting, Flooring & Tile, Aluminum Curtainwalls & Glazing, Millwork & Casework, Acoustical Ceiling Assemblies, Mechanical Systems, Electrical, Excavation & Site Utilities, HMA Paving. Instructions include that all bids must be sealed and received at the designated district office by the specified date and time. A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough at both project locations is strongly encouraged. All questions regarding the project or bidding requirements must be sent via email by the deadline. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid must be submitted with the Bid. The successful bidder must procure and pay for a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. All contracts are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is required. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days without consent.
