All questions, requests for clarification and communications about this RFP and submission requirements must be submitted through the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website and must be received by 2:00 PM December 5, 2025. Addenda responding to questions submitted by the above date or identified at any Information Session to be held in regard to this RFP, along with any changes or amendments to this RFP, will be available via the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website by 2:00 PM on December 9, 2025. 1. Scope of Work Summary. This project will upgrade a portion of the existing drainage system that connects Lincoln Street to Waterville Street that runs through Bella Vista Condominiums via a 10' drainage easement. There will be approximately 130' of 24" pipe installed and 5 new drainage structures constructed. Also, a new EZ-Block retaining wall will be constructed to support the existing failing stone wall on Waterville Street. A portion of the existing driveway will be repaved and new curbing will be installed. Modified riprap will be installed on the slope and grass will be established on disturbed areas. All work will be performed per the attached construction plans and specifications. During construction, the contractor will be responsible to maintain the stability of the existing stone wall and general safety of the area. It is anticipated that the Successful Proposer shall reach Substantial Completion of the Work on or before May 15, 2026 and shall reach Final Completion of all Work and Services required by this RFP on or before June 1, 2026. (25% of the total state-funded value with DAS-certified Small Businesses and 6.25% of the total state-funded value with DAScertified Minority-, and/or Disabled-owned Business.). The contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the 25% set-aside goals.
