The project generally consists of temporary signage, protection, and traffic control; temporary erosion and sediment control; construction of concrete curbs, ramps, and pedestrian facilities; construction of asphalt concrete pavement repair including aggregate placement; installation and relocation of permanent signage and striping; removal of existing flashing pedestrian crossing beacons; installation of new flashing pedestrian crossing beacons and appurtenances; and performance of additional and incidental work as called for by the specifications and plans. Bids must incorporate all items identified on the Bid Schedule. Bidders must submit a First Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form. Contractors must provide proof of a public works bond with a corporate surety in the amount of $30,000. No Bid will be considered unless fully completed as provided in the Bid Packet. Facsimile Bids will not be accepted, nor will Bids received after the stated Bid Closing. The City may reject any Bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all Bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
