Site work and addition to a water / sewer project in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The project generally includes site work consisting of erosion control and grubbing; construction of concrete pads for the generator, transformers, transfer switches, and battery cabinets; installation of a pre-purchased 1250kW generator with sub-base fuel tank, transformers, and automatic transfer switches; connection to existing 4160 Vac and 480 Vac services serving the pump station, aeration building, and dam equipment; and coordination with the Owner's Integrator for required SCADA system modifications. All miscellaneous work related to the above is included. General contractors must comply with regulations governing the practice of general contractors in North Carolina. No proposal will be considered unless it is accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent of the total bid. A separate performance and payment bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the contract price will be required after bid award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted. Discrimination against individuals in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act is prohibited.
