The project involves replacing the existing transmission main from the well and treatment plant near Enaville to the Smelterville Booster Station. The new transmission main will be constructed primarily of 24-inch C-900 PVC and will generally parallel the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's. The alignment includes two elevated crossings utilizing existing bridges over the South Fork Coeur d'Alene River and Pine Creek. Prospective bidders are directed to obtain the Bidding Documents from the designated website (www.jubplanroom.com) and are encouraged to register as plan holders. All official notifications, addenda, and other relevant information will be provided through the designated website. For all requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. The project is subject to American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements and Davis-Bacon wage rules, and prevailing wages are required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required for bidding. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received.
