The project includes the construction of a Public Works Shop. The building will feature vehicle and equipment service bays for general maintenance, a pit, and wash areas. It will also include supporting interior facilities such as a restroom, office, clean room, storage, HVAC, and oil-water separator, as well as supporting exterior facilities like fuel tanks, parking, and a materials laydown area. Public infrastructure needs such as electricity, gas, water, sewer, and stormwater are also included. The Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) will be responsible for negotiating a Guaranteed Maximum Price, acting as a consultant during the design phase for constructability feedback, developing required drawings and material certifications, providing all labor, materials, and equipment as the general contractor, and helping to identify risks, allowing for value engineering and expediting the project timeline. Total Construction Budget for all projects is anticipated to be between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000.
