Description

Renovation of a transportation facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The scope of work includes escalator handrail vulcanization. Bidders are required to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform the escalator handrail vulcanization at the specified location. Follow all required specifications and instructions provided in the bid documents with particular attention to safety policies and quality standards. Failure to follow instructions may result in bid disqualification. The Work includes but is not limited to: SEPTA is soliciting services of a qualified company to provide the specified handrail materials, splice kits, and on-site vulcanization for all SEPTA Escalators. This contract is for one vendor to provide all materials and services as specified. All questions must be submitted, via email, to the Contract Administrator no later than Monday, November 24, 2025 by COB to be guaranteed an answer. All questions will be answered by Wednesday, December 3, 2025 by COB.
