As of December 26, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on end of January 2026. The City of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri will accept sealed bids for the Water Treatment Plant Roof Repair Project. All bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope with "Water Treatment Plant Roof Repair Project" and submitted to the attention of the City Clerk. Bid specifications may be obtained from the City Clerk. Prevailing wage is not required for this project. A bid or performance bond is not required. Contractor must participate in a Federal Work Authorization Program per RSMo. Section 285.530 and comply with RSMo. Section 292.675, which requires a 10 hour OSHA safety training class for on-site employees. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to waive any informality to determine the lowest responsible bidder as approved by the Board of Alderpersons. The following are specifications for a roof repair project on the water treatment plant, 868 Market St., Ste. Genevieve, MO 63670: *Provide and install eight (8) new skylights on the roof. *Tighten and/or replace any loose or missing fasteners on either roof and/or guttering. *Remove and replace or thoroughly clean any rusted areas on roof. Prime any rusted areas with rust-inhibitive primer. *Prepare existing roof substrate for silicone coating & ensure all surfaces are structurally sound. *Pressure wash roof surface to remove all dust, dirt, oils and debris - make certain surface is clean, dry, and free of contaminants prior to application of silicone coating. *Apply watertight, seamless silicone roof coating (minimum 20 mils thickness) across entire surface of roof. *A site inspection is highly recommended. *Winning bidder shall have/acquire a Ste. Genevieve city business license and have minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance and Worker's Compensation Coverage. *Repair work shall NOT interfere with water treatment plant operations. *Warranty provided shall be noted in the bid proposal. *Bidder is responsible for removing all roofing waste material from job site and leaving job site in a clean and safe condition. *Project to be completed within 30 days of Notice To Proceed - city anticipates Notice To Proceed granted in March or April, 2026.
