The scope of work includes street improvements to several roadways within the City of Ste. Genevieve and provides for pavement preparation, asphalt overlay, pavement striping, traffic control, and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Question Deadline 03/05/2026 at 4:00 PM CT Any questions regarding this project must be submitted by 4:00 pm local time on this date. No written questions after this date or any verbal questions will be recognized. Bid packages will be distributed electronically at no cost to the bidder upon request by email, requiring company name, contact person and phone number, complete address, and email address for the Plan Holders List and official bidding communications. Bidders not on the Plan Holders List will not receive addenda. Hard copies are not available for purchase; bidders may print documents at their own expense. Project and bidding questions must be submitted by email by the specified deadline; no verbal or late questions will be recognized. Each bid must include a bid security of five percent of the bid amount. The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined by law and are set forth in the specification. No business entity shall employ unauthorized aliens within Missouri. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation of enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program and affirm that all employees are not illegal immigrants. Upon contract signing, the contractor and any subcontractors must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees within sixty days of beginning work on the project. Businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin. The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities.
