Renovation of an educational facility in Cadillac, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The project involves HVAC and Mechanical Upgrades for Cadillac Area Public Schools. Proposals are requested for the following scopes: Building Demolition, Mechanical, Plumbing, Insulation, Sheet Metal, Temperature Controls, and Building Electrical. Specialty subcontractors are being solicited by invitation only. All proposals must be based on prevailing wages as required by the State of Michigan Prevailing Wage Act. Contractors and subcontractors must register annually with the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity - Wage and Hour Division before bidding and submit certified payroll reports electronically via the State's LCPtracker system. Payment and Performance Bonds are required. The proposal must include a sworn and notarized familial disclosure statement and a bid bond equal to 5% of the total contract. Successful bidders will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. Bid documents are available for electronic download via ProCore or SmartBid, and bidders are responsible for all documents and the cost of printing and shipping associated with the bid package.
