Furnish all labor and materials for the construction of Ridgeview High School Fire Alarm Replacement (CCDS Project No. C-52-25/26). All work shall be performed according to the plans and specifications prepared by Haddad Engineering, Inc. Partial sets of drawings or specifications are not advised and neither the Engineer nor Owner will be responsible for partial information provided to subcontractors by the Prime Contractors. Additional instructions include registering intention to bid and as a plan holder with the Engineer for prime bidders, and attendance at the mandatory pre-bid meeting at the site is required for all bidders. Only bidders attending the pre-bid meeting will be permitted to submit a bid. Pre-qualification requirements: Only contractors pre-qualified by the School District of Clay County are eligible to submit bids. All contractual personnel permitted access on school grounds when students are present must meet Level 2 screening requirements as described in S1012.32, Florida Statutes. Entities or affiliates on the discriminatory vendor list may not submit a bid or perform work for this public entity project.. Description: Fire Alarm Repair / Replacement 1. Demolition: The project includes demolition of the existing fire alarm system and all associated equipment, wiring, and devices. All existing installations are not necessarily shown in the contract drawings. 2. New Work: The project includes a completely new fire alarm system, and sound equipment, with control panel, terminal boxes, booster power supplies, batteries, devices, wires / cables, conduits, supporting power distribution, fire alarm system testing / certifications / training, and other work required for a complete operable fire alarm system.
