Site work for a water / sewer project in Dickinson, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the AMR Metering System, consisting of approximately 590 meters and other necessary items. Bidders are required to purchase American-made equipment and products with funding provided under the DWSRF program, as specified in the bid documents. Plans and specifications may be inspected and obtained at the office of the engineering consultant for a non-refundable deposit, and bidders are responsible for shipping costs. No plans and specifications will be issued to contractors later than 72 hours before the bid deadline. Each set of contract documents will be assigned to a bidder and is for that bidder's exclusive use; any bid using a set not assigned to the submitting bidder will be disqualified. Bidders must verify with the project engineer that they have received all addenda and supplemental information no later than 72 hours prior to the bid deadline. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check amounting to five percent of the base bid, payable to the Cwm Water Authority. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, using forms provided in the specifications, and include the entire bid book, experience documentation, resumes, design sketches, and other required items. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities in the bidding process. Contractors must hold a current license from the State Licensing Board of General Contractors, Montgomery, Alabama.
