Solicitation Id: BTS-01 The Bureau of Technical Services Utility Coordination Unit requires assistance to perform utility coordination review duties as an extension of WisDOT staff. Provide a utility coordinator or engineer (with approximately 3 years experience) to work approximately 30 hours per week performing post PS&E utility coordination review. Confirm that highway improvement projects follow Federal Code, Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code, and current policies and procedures. This position will mainly be remote, tentatively some travel to assist with statewide utility conference or other outreach events. One individual is preferred for the reviews, but services can be assisted by a small team; identify the primary individual and other team members. Review, communicate, and coordinate revisions to contract documents for projects in a timely manner. Assist with coordinating virtual and in-person statewide utility outreach events.
