Limit :Various Projects Within Se Region The Southeast Region requires on demand assistance to perform materials and gradation testing for asphalt or concrete requirements at the Southeast Regional Lab in West Allis as an extension of WisDOT staff. Provide a team of materials testers to be available to perform materials and gradation testing at the Asphalt and Materials Lab in SE Region and on construction sites. Workload is expected to vary and will likely include nights and possibly weekends. This effort will encompass construction projects in all construction programs for the 2026, 2027 and 2028 construction seasons. The consultant must be on-call, report planned absences at least 1 week in advance and report unplanned absences as soon as possible. Perform verification and acceptance testing for all construction projects containing aggregate gradations and Hot Mix Asphalt including: obtaining HMA, PG Binder and tack coat samples; HMA mixture verification testing; nuclear density acceptance testing and verification testing; and documenting, calculating, and reporting test data. Exact staffing levels will be determined during contract negotitation; additional testers may be required. A small team to 2 -3 individuals is preferred, but a team of up to 10 providing 2 - 3 FTEs may be proposed. If proposing a larger team, indicate the primary proposed testers in the NOI.
