**As of January 27, 2026, this project has not been awarded yet, but it tentatively scheduled to be awarded on February 10th. If the award goes as planned it will be awarded to Souza Construction for $3,508,575.** The project is a permanent fix for the washout caused by the 2023 storms at Franklin Creek at Chimney Rock Road. There have been recent updates to Insurance requirements for the County for this project, including a requirement for "Builder's Risk" coverages. Question Deadline 12/11/2025 at 3:00 PM PT All bidder Requests for Information must be submitted no later than 5 business days prior to the bid opening date. Requests submitted after said date may not be considered. All questions pertaining to the content of this invitation to Bid must be made in writing through the Purchasing website. Bidders are notified that financing for this project is provided in part by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance Grant Program and that compliance with applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders, and FEMA policies, procedures, and directives is required.
