Renovation of a fire / police facility in Bismarck, North Dakota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

The City of Bismarck Public Works Service Operations is accepting written qualifications from professional architectural firms for re-roofing Fire Station 1. The project includes a re-work of the current drain pipe system. The selected applicant will provide consulting services for design, contract documents preparation, bidding, and contract administration for Fire Station 1 at 1020 East Central Avenue, Bismarck, ND. Written proposals must address the firm's experience and ability to perform these services in a timely manner and be limited to 20 single-sided or 10 double-sided pages. Proposals should focus on technical capabilities, experience, understanding of the project, knowledge of regulations and local conditions, response ability, personnel availability, and experience with similar projects. The architect will be selected based on Statements of Qualification, after which a detailed scope of work and pricing will be negotiated. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informality, or accept any response in its best interest.
