Demolition, site work, new construction and addition to a mixed-use development in Huntington, West Virginia. Working plans call for the addition of a medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the construction of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
The contractor shall prepare the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to upgrade and improve the Electronic Health Record Modernization infrastructure for the Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center campus. Work includes initial site investigations and development of the defined scope for campus improvements, such as upgrading fiber runs to and within designated buildings, upgrading primary and backup power distribution, modifying and improving Telecommunications Room locations, and expanding the campus data center. Required construction activities include general construction, alterations, grading, drainage, road and walkway work, removal of existing structures, and all additional work necessary to support the infrastructure upgrades. Location: Hershel Woody Williams VA Medical Center, 1540 Spring Valley Drive, Huntington, WV 25704, USA The magnitude of construction is between $20,000,000.00 and $50,000,000.00.
