Renovation of a multi-residential development in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade, 73-unit multi-residential development.
The Housing Authority of the City of Charleston requests proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive renovations to the Meeting Street Manor public housing site, which comprises 73 units of federally subsidized public housing. Three bound copies of the proposal package should be mailed or hand-delivered to the Housing Authority of the City of Charleston, Procurement and Contracts Management Department, Suite 102, Charleston, SC 29403. The solicitation number and Job number must be shown on the outside of any mailing package. A selected committee will evaluate the proposal packages based on the following criteria: Related Experience 30%; Cost 40%; Financial Stability 10%; Company Profile 10%; Project Timeline 5%; Section 3 Business/Plan 5%. This is a federally assisted project that requires compliance with applicable federal requirements, and Minority and women-owned businesses are encouraged to respond. The Housing Authority reserves the right to retain all submitted Proposal packages, use any idea in any package, waive irregularities, reject any proposals, and cancel this solicitation.
