The County of DeKalb, GA is requesting proposals from qualified solar PV providers to design, engineer, finance, build, operate, maintain, and decommission turn-key installations of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems at specified municipal properties. Respondents must have demonstrated experience in designing, planning, financing, permitting, and constructing complete solar PV systems and knowledge of local utility regulations. The goals include increasing renewable energy capacity, reducing energy costs and emissions, fostering workforce development, serving as a municipal model for solar deployment, and providing educational opportunities regarding renewable energy benefits.
