Demolition and renovation of a medical facility in Centerville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
Bidders may submit bids for the renovation of the Hickman County Health Department, Phase 2 - Re-Roof, located at 111 Murphree Avenue, Centerville, TN 37033. The work includes demolition of the existing roof, installation of new insulation, flashing around all penetrations, and installation of a new roof system. Bids must be prepared in compliance with the specified instructions. To obtain bidding documents, General Contractors must provide a $200 deposit to TLM Associates, Inc., which is fully refundable if documents are returned in good condition within 10 days after the bid opening. Sub-contractors and suppliers must pay a $150 refundable deposit for one set of plans and specifications. Digital copies are available after a set is purchased. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government bonds, or a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent of the bid. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 90 days after opening. The Owner may reject any or all bids or waive informalities. All bidders must comply with applicable licensing laws and provide appropriate insurance and bonds if awarded the contract. A performance bond, separate labor and material payment bond, and insurance will be required from the successful bidder. A pre-bid meeting is recommended for all bidders at the project location.
