Renovation of a residential development in Somerset, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 7,728-square-foot residential development.
The project consists of the phased replacement of air handlers and condensing throughout multiple cottages at Oakwood Facility including 101, 102, 104, 105, 109, 110, 114, 115, 116, and 118. Existing air handlers shall be removed. Duct modifications shall be provided to accommodate multiple air handlers and electric duct heaters being provided in the mechanical rooms of cottages. Hydronic boilers and indirect domestic hot water storage tanks shall be removed. Gas fired domestic water heaters shall be provided to replace indirect storage tanks. Electrical panels and disconnects shall be provided and replaced to accommodate HVAC and Plumbing modifications. Work shall be performed in a phased approach, with only one cottage being available at a time. This individual cottage will be unoccupied at the time of construction. Estimate: $1,965,000.00 Estimated Length of Project: 658 (Substantial Completion) + 30 (Final Completion) The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AT THE SITE VISIT. ALL TECHNICAL QUESTIONS SHALL BE EMAILED TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS PROJECT. 729-CC7B-OW61-00
