The major items of work include: Mechanical/HVAC Remove and replace four existing rooftop mechanical units to accommodate future tenant improvements. Fire Access Ladder Furnish and install an enclosed exterior roof access ladder to provide roof accessibility for both Valley Regional Fire Authority and building maintenance. Sewer Rehabilitation of the existing sewer service lines that are located under the existing concrete building slab-on-grade. This scope includes both relining and replacement of the existing sewer piping, as well as portions of removal and replacement of the existing concrete slab-on-grade. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond (surety bond) equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into the contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the bid documents, the bid deposit will be forfeited. Disadvantaged, Minority, and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond.
