This project consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and other work or items incidental thereto for the construction, sequencing, and traffic control plan for overlaying existing asphalt concrete pavement in five different locations within the City of Federal Way and constructing fifteen King County Metro Bus Pads. The work includes, but is not limited to, Hot Mix Asphalt pavement overlay, roadway excavation, planing bituminous pavement, pavement repair, removal and replacement of curb and gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, traffic curb, repairing or re-aligning manholes and catch basins, pedestrian push button and foundation, channelization, restoration, utility adjustments, and all items necessary to complete the work as described in the contract documents. Bidders must submit sealed bids by the deadline specified. All bid proposals must adhere to the contract and be accompanied by a bid deposit or bond in the required amount. Bidders are recommended to register online to receive notifications of addenda and ensure they are included in the bidders list. Questions must be directed by email or letter by the specified deadline prior to bid opening. Bids are governed by the Washington State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or minor irregularities, and determine which bid or bidder meets the criteria set forth in the bid documents.
