Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Great Bend, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Water Tower Improvements and Repairs - Airport Industrial Park Tower The City of Great Bend, Kansas is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to perform structural repairs, safety upgrades, steel modifications, interior coating system, and general rehabilitation of the 200,000-gallon elevated water tower located in the Airport Industrial Park. Work includes but is not limited to ladder and fall-protection upgrades, vent replacement, overflow modifications, seal welding roof openings, installation of a tank mixing system, repair of the sight gauge, guardrail improvements, coating touch-ups, removal of an unused overflow tank, and full interior wet-coating rehabilitation in accordance with the specifications outlined in the Request for Proposal. All work must meet applicable KDHE and industry standards, and the project must be completed by December 31, 2026. A mandatory site visit is required, and full proposal instructions, technical specifications, and evaluation criteria are provided in the accompanying RFP document.
