Renovation of a medical facility in Perry, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
The project consists of the replacement of (2) existing water-cooled chillers with (2) new pre-purchased water-cooled chillers. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount, in the form of a cashier's or certified check, certified bank share draft, or bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, after the award of the contract, a corporate surety bond or bonds for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equivalent to 100% of the contract sum. Bidders are to provide a statement regarding their residency status. No sales tax should be included on the bid form. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the bid closing. Bidders should be prepared to submit performance and payment bonds. Out-of-state bidders must submit an Out-of-State Contractor Bond to the Iowa Division of Labor. Preference will be given to Iowa products and labor where required by law. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and intends to award to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder.
