Renovation of a medical facility in Perry, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 13,700-square-foot medical facility.
The general nature of the work is as follows: Reroofing of roof areas 1 through 7, approximately 13,700 SF. The Owner's construction budget for this project is $190,000. The work must commence on April 21, 2027 and must reach Substantial Completion by June 12, 2027 and Final Completion by July 3, 2027. Bidders and subbidders may obtain bidding documents online on Action Reprographic's website upon depositing fifty dollars for each set; the deposit will be refunded upon the return of documents in good condition within fourteen days after award of project. A Master Builders card may be presented in place of a deposit. Each Bidder shall accompany the Bid with bid security in the form of a cashier's or certified check, certified bank share draft, or bid bond, in an amount equivalent to 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract and furnish a corporate surety bond or bonds for faithful performance in an amount equivalent to 100% of the contract. All bidders are required to provide a statement regarding their residency status. Contractors using materials, supplies, and equipment on this project may purchase these items without liability for sales tax with the appropriate authorization and exemption certificate. Do not include sales tax on your bid form. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Bidders must be prepared to submit a performance bond and payment bond. Out-of-state bidders must submit an Out-of-State Contractor Bond as required. Preference will be given to Iowa products, provisions, and labor as required by law. The Owner intends to award the contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder but reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
