Renovation of an educational facility in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

The Scope of This Project Includes, but is Not Limited to, the Replacement of Steam-based Unit Ventilators With New Uvs Equipped With Air Conditioning Through a Roof Top Mounted Chiller System; Installation of a New Packaged Rtu and Related Duct Work for the Gym; and Upgrades to the Existing Electric Service. The Contract Documents Define the Full Project Scope. Bids Will Be Considered in Accordance With N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-1 Et.seq. And N.j.s.a. 18a:7g-1 Et.seq. Bids Will Be Received From a Bidder for a Lump Sum Price for the Entire Project, All Trades, All Inclusive. Bidders Must Be Pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (Dpmc) in One of the Following Categories, Pursuant to N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-27.1, Et.seq.: (C032) Hvacr Bidders Shall Also Either Be Prequalified for, or Include Documentation for Prequalified Subcontractors for, the Following Listed Classifications: (C029) Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron (C047) Electrical Bidders and Subcontractors for Each of the Major Branches of Work Specified in N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-18 Must Be Prequalified by the Dpmc. Bidding Requirements: Bids will be accepted from a single general contractor for a lump sum bid Bidder Qualification: (C032) HVACR Major Subcontractor: (C029) Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron (C030) Plumbing (C047) Electrical Specialty Subcontractor: (C092) Asbestos Removal / Treatment Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Form of (1) a Bid Bond or Certified or Cashier's Check Payable to the Bloomfield Board of Education Equal to 10% of the Amount of the Bid, but in No Case to Exceed $20,000.00 Per N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-24, and (2) Certificate of Consent of Surety Per N.j.s.a. 18a:18a-25.
