The Town of Oak Bluffs invites bids for on-call carpentry services for public buildings and facilities in Oak Bluffs, MA. The contract term is for one year with two one-year renewal options. Licensed and insured contractors can obtain bid documents by emailing the Procurement Officer. All bids must be sealed, marked accordingly, and submitted to the Town Administrator's Office. The work must conform to the requirements of MGL, Chapter 149, Sections 44A through M, and Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended, and comply with the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law under MGL, Chapter 149, Section 27. The lowest responsible and eligible company must furnish certification of labor harmony and proof that all employees at the worksite have completed a minimum 10-hour OSHA-approved construction safety and health course. All bids must be signed by an authorized individual(s). The Town of Oak Bluffs reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
