Question Deadline 01/06/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project consists of constructing approximately 2,475 linear feet of water line and all associated services, valves, fittings, and appurtenances along Sink Valley Road in Butler, TN. Bids will be received on a unit price basis for a Base Bid (4" DIP water line) and one Alternative (6" DIP water line), with a single prime contract at the Owner's discretion. All bid documents may be examined at Cannon and Cannon, Inc., and digital plans and specifications can be obtained from their website. The Town will ensure equal opportunity for all bidders and encourages participation from small, minority-owned, and women's business enterprises. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the total bid amount is required, and the successful bidder must furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. It is the responsibility of all planholders to periodically check for Addenda posted on the website of the engineer of record.
