The work included under these specifications and the accompanying drawings consists of providing all items, articles, materials, operation, or methods listed, mentioned, or scheduled on the drawings and/or herein including all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for their completion. The intent of this contract is to provide for the Water System Upgrades - Contract III, Horseshoe Cove in Carter County, TN for the Carderview Utility District. Work includes the installation of a 4" water line, new pump station, valves, appurtenances, and all other work detailed in the Technical Specifications and Construction Drawings. The work to be bid on is as follows: New Pump Station and Water Line Upgrades in Horseshoe Cove for the Carderview Utility District. The allotted time for construction is 90 Calendar Days. This Project is being Funded by the Johnson County ARP Funds. All Minority and Women-owned contractors are encouraged to participate. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the submittal thereof. Bidders are instructed to read and sign off on the Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts Under Federal Awards in these Contract Documents following the Supplemental Conditions. Provisions for liquidated damages, if any, for failure to timely attain a Milestone, Substantial Completion, or completion of the Work in readiness for final payment, are set forth in the Agreement. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5%. percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions.
