Removal of existing ball field lights and replacement with new electrical conduit and wiring, lighting upgrades, and light posts with foundations per plans and specifications for a fully functional and operational system, and all other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications at Idlewild Park located at 1505 Idlewild Drive, Reno, NV. A certified check, cashier's check, bid bond or cash, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each Proposal, as a guarantee that if awarded the Contract, the Bidder will execute the Contract, give the two (2) bonds required, and present evidence of the required liability insurance and being licensed under the provisions Chapter 4.04 of the Reno Municipal Code. Said check shall be made payable to the City of Reno, and said bond shall be executed by an approved surety, if used. The provision of any such bond, check, or cash is conditioned to the effect that should the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded fail to enter into the Contract in accordance with the Proposal, give the two (2) bonds required by said Contract, present sufficient evidence of required liability insurance and being licensed under the provisions of Chapter 4.04 of the Reno Municipal Code within ten (10) calendar days after notice of such award, the surety company shall forthwith pay the City of Reno the sum set forth in the bid bond, and the City shall be entitled to deposit the cash or check as liquidated damages.
