Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the replacement of approximately 1000 LF of 6" steel main with 8" ductile iron main on Turbine Way between Surge St and Aquifer Way. 1. Main Replacement: a. Installation of approximately 950LF 8” restrained ductile iron pipe and associated fittings. b. Installation of approximately 20LF 6” restrained ductile iron pipe and associated fittings. c. Grout fill and abandonment of approximately 950LF 6” steel pipe and associated fittings. d. Retirement offive (5) existing 1” HDPE/POLY service laterals and replacement with HDPE service tubing from main to setter. e. Abandon and grout fill existing 6” diameter steel water main, fittings, valves, and associated appurtenances. f. Saw Cutting, temporary pavement patching, placement and compaction of bedding sand and backfill materials, permanent pavement patching, 2- inch mill and overlay, slurry seal, and traffic control associated with the installation ofthe proposed pipelines and services.
