Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,563-square-foot, three-story above grade theater / auditorium.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following 1. The Scope of the project is as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by H+K Architects. 2. Complete removal of the inner metal projection dome to be upgraded with an updated LED screen inner dome being designed and installed by COSM. 3. The Work consists of, but is not limited to, selective demolition, wood door, hardware, interior finishes, mechanical systems, electrical systems, interior luminaires, telephone/data service, pathways and wiring. 4. The project shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, coordination and related items necessary to complete construction as shown on the Drawings, Specifications and Contract Documents. Interior renovations to the Planetarium Dome Theater including removal of existing projector screen, infill center opening, architectural finish improvements. Scope includes new basement server room, electrical and mechanical improvements along with a new exterior chiller. This is a prevailing wage project. Required insurance includes Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers' Compensation, Installation Floater to cover on-site storage and installation of the materials, and Equipment Insurance coverage for mobile equipment, forklift, scissor lift, crane etc. If rented, include rental equipment insurance if needed. If a crane will be used then either the Installation Floater must cover equipment on the hook, or separate Rigging Insurance to cover any lifting operations utilizing a crane will be required.
