Questions should be submitted electronically Estimated Cost Range: $420,000 to $520,000 Liquidated Damages: $200 per day per resident bed deemed unavailable as a result of construction activities that extend beyond the permitted construction dates and/or substantial completion date. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All Bidders shall be licensed by the State of Nevada to do the type and value of work contemplated in this project. The successful bidder shall possess a valid and applicable Contractor's License issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board under the provisions of Chapter 624 of Nevada Revised Statutes, at the time of submitting its bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond duly completed on an acceptable form by a guaranty company authorized to carry on business in the State of Nevada and with an A. M. Best rating of at least A-, in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the sum of the total amount bid, including any options. The bid security shall be forfeited to the NSHE as liquidated damages in the case of failure or neglect of the bidder to furnish, execute and deliver to the NSHE the required performance and payment bond(s) and evidences of necessary insurance coverage within seven (7) days after receiving the Intent to Award. Bid security or bid bonds submitted with bids will be returned to all unsuccessful bidders upon issuance of the purchase order award. The NSHE reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of a bid. NSHE reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder who previously failed to perform adequately for the NSHE or any other governmental Agency, or who is in default on the payment of taxes, licenses, or other monies due NSHE or any other governmental Agency.
