Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the replacement of approximately 2,900' of existing water main by trenching in Reno, Nevada. All existing pipe to either be grout filled and retired in place or removed. Question Deadline 01/26/2026 at 2:00 PM PT Questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted through online. Answers Due Date: 1/27/2026 05:00 PM (ET) The Engineer's estimate is: $1,251,642 - $1,529,784 This Project is deemed a Horizontal Construction Project. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. A. The Work described in these documents shall be conducted under a single prime contract. The following is a general description of the Work included. B. The project makes several improvements to water mains in Reno, NV. The project highlights include but are not limited to the following items: 1. Install new 6" ductile iron (DI) water mains on Carter Drive, Frandsen Circle, and Suda Way. Tie-over all existing water services. 2. Remove and dispose of existing transite water mains as necessary for new water main installation. 3. Abandon existing cast iron, polyvinyl chloride, and ductile iron water mains as necessary for new water main installation. C. The Work is located at the following location(s): 1. Carter Drive, Frandsen Circle, Suda Way - Reno, Nevada.
