Renovation of a transportation facility in Havelock, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
Replace the existing elevator at DLA Distribution Building 159 at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. Work shall be performed in accordance with Specification Section 01 11 00, Summary of Work, and includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for elevator replacement within an active facility environment. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This acquisition is solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $45,000,000. Funding may not become available, and no award will be made if funds are not provided; bidders will not be reimbursed for proposal preparation costs. A site visit is scheduled for March 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM, meeting in front of Building 87 on Roosevelt Boulevard, with base access requirements contained in Section 01 14 00. The applicable wage determination is General Decision Number NC20260018, dated 01/20/2026, Construction Type Building. Facsimile submission of offers or amendments is not authorized. The contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days of award and complete all work within 300 calendar days. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
