The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is seeking proposals from qualified playground manufacturers and suppliers to design, fabricate, and deliver a complete railroad or western-themed playground system for the Santa Maria Community Sports Park. The City intends to purchase a fully designed and equipped play system that provides inclusive and engaging play opportunities for children ages 2-5 and 5-12, while visually complementing the park's setting. The successful proposer will be responsible for the conceptual design, manufacture, and delivery of the playground equipment. Installation will be provided separately by the City. The purchase shall substantially comply with the terms of the City's Standard Agreement for Service (Attachment A). The proposed playground design shall coordinate with the existing site plan (Sheet C3.5, attached as Exhibit "E") and is provided for layout coordination and spatial context. All playground equipment design and delivery shall be compatible with the dimensions, surfacing extents, and adjacent park elements shown in these drawings.
