The project involves demolishing an abandoned water tower and the associated underground water piping back to the existing valve and capping. New life safety infrastructure needs to be installed for the Main Building Kitchen and Dining Area to provide adequate water pressure for the sprinkler system. A new campus generator must be installed to the electrical infrastructure to provide adequate emergency power to the dormitories, kitchen, and central utility plant. Multiple roof replacements will also be conducted based on a roofing study completed in December 2022. Bidders must submit one copy of the qualifications information package along with a USB flash drive containing the entire package contents. The package must include a Letter of Interest and Standard Form 254 (SF 254) with the information package. Sealed qualifications may be delivered by UPS/FedEx or in person. Firms providing construction or design services must be properly licensed in North Carolina. The qualification package should address the following criteria: 1. Profile of each key firm on the team 2. Resume of each key personnel 3. Examples of relevant experience 4. Recent experience with project cost estimating 5. Recent experience with adhering to project schedules 6. Understanding of the project location 7. Description of current workload and resources 8. Description of process for successful project delivery (addressing each phase) 9. Certifications, including a surety letter and HUB participation documentation 10.
