Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lorain, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.

The partial removal and replacement of sidewalks around Southview and Helen Steiner Rice in the City of Lorain. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, or a bond for the full amount as a guarantee to enter into a contract and secure a performance bond if accepted. Bid blanks and specifications can be obtained at www.cityoflorain.org. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment and comply with the American Disabilities Act, as well as all federal minority and women business enterprise requirements. Contractors and subcontractors are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor as practicable. Bidders must be on the ODOT pre-qualified list for highway construction, submit a list of available equipment, and pay labor not less than prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor Davis Bacon requirements for Lorain County, Ohio. The Director of Safety/Service reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. If a Bidder contemplating submitting a Bid for the proposed Project is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, it may submit a written request for an interpretation thereof to City of Lorain, Engineering Department in writing on the form included with the Contract Documents.
