Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in West Grove, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.

The project includes the construction of a concrete pad and walkways associated with the National Fitness Center Project at Penn Township Community Park, including temporary access road, erosion and sedimentation controls, grading, and restoration. Specifications and Forms of Proposal are available from the Director of Operations at the Township Office. Proposals must be submitted using forms provided by the Township, sealed in an envelope marked "Penn Township Community Park Fitness Center Concrete Package." Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to the order of Penn Township. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply to the project, along with applicable laws and regulations. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts thereof, in the best interest of the Township. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date set for receiving and opening bids. Each bid must include a signed commitment from the proposed surety to execute a Performance Bond, Letter of Intent, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Nondiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause, Public Works Employment Verification Form, and Statement of Bidder's Qualifications. The successful bidder must provide a Contractor's Performance Bond and Labor and Materialmen's Bond for 100% of the accepted bid, and a Maintenance Bond for 10% of the contract amount. The surety must have at least an "A" Best Rating and be authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, with the bond provided without a reinsurer.
