This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Union, New Jersey. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
Sealed bids are invited for Tree Trimming and Removal Services. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the Township of Union in the amount equal to ten percent of the one year annual rent bid, not to exceed $20,000. Alternate bids will not be considered unless specified otherwise in the technical specifications. The successful bidder will be required to have a New Jersey Licensed Tree Expert and furnish a satisfactory performance and payment bond. Bidders must comply with the Affirmative Action Act and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act. The township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities consistent with the Local Public Contracts Law and to award all or parts of bids to one or more bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid opening without consent. One fully executed copy of the bid must be presented on the proposal form provided. Specifications are not to be submitted with bid documents.
