Rehabilitation of historic house, livery and site for new city programming at 711-717 Bluff Avenue East, Shakopee, MN. The scope of work includes buildings rehabilitation and renovation, landscaping, installation or repair of sanitary sewer (gravity), concrete paving and pavement marking, custom interior casework and cabinetry, construction services, installation of sidewalks, curbs, gutters, concrete walkways, and concrete pavement, doors and windows work, paving with asphalt or concrete, electrical work, restroom construction or renovation, plumbing, parking lots and ramps construction, pedestrian improvements, main window installation, repair or replacement, masonry construction and restoration, sitework including excavating and grading, roofing, painting, trail paving, and parking lot paving. Project Description: Project consists of construction of Rehabilitation of the historic Schroeder House and Livery, summarized as follows: 1. The project includes work at two (2) buildings, the Schroeder House and Livery. These buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and their treatment shall be classified primarily as Rehabilitation. 2. Work on the exterior includes masonry restoration, roof repairs and replacement, wood repairs and painting of wood fascia and trim, window repairs, door replacement, concrete stoop replacement, exterior stairs, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. a. There are several eras, types and styles of existing brick used on this project. Owner has a limited supply of existing brick that may be used. Additionally all brick removed from existing openings shall be salvaged for re-use on this project. 3. Work on the interior includes rehabilitation of and remodeling interior spaces, preservation of historic finishes and added finishes, addition of restrooms and warming kitchens for use as assembly space, repair of existing doors and installation of new doors, period-appropriate lighting installation, mechanical and electrical equipment and system installation, fire protection system (wet sprinkler) installation, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents. 4. Work on the larger site includes site lighting, connections with existing utilities, grading, landscaping, irrigation, paving, and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
