Site work for a fire / police facility in Thomasville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
You are invited to submit a bid for providing installation for an on-site sewage management system for the Thomas County Board of Commissioners. Variations from the given specifications should be noted on the bid form with explanations. Bids are to be marked with the bidder's name and address and labeled as "Bid for Sewage Management System Installation". The system is for the Southside EMS Station Building at 5340 Highway 319 South, Thomasville, GA. The scope includes directional drilling 85 feet under asphalt with 4" HDPE, a 1000-gallon tank without a garbage disposal, a pump with 1/2 gallon per linear foot to the drain field, an 805 SF absorption field, 270 linear feet of 12x36 conventional gravel and pipe, 18-inch deep absorption trenches, use of certified sand, disconnection and capping of the existing drain field, wiring the system to two separate electrical circuits, connection to existing septic systems, and responsibility for topsoiling and final grading. The contractor must have mound certification. The county is responsible for rerouting existing water flow and rerouting the floor drain.
