Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for interior renovations at Hand-In-Hand Primary School, 4687 Hwy. 84, Thomasville, GA. The project consists of architectural, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, and mechanical work related to an interior renovation of the campus. The construction contract will be for a general contractor handling all trades, with an estimated project cost of approximately $4,300,000. Bidders must provide a bid security valued at 5 percent of the bid amount. Bids must not be withdrawn for 60 days after submission, and the owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive informalities and irregularities. A mandatory prebid conference will be held at the school. Procurement and contracting documents must be obtained from Print Life Printing and Supplies, Inc., and will be provided to prime bidders only as complete sets. The successful bidder must begin procuring materials upon receipt of the Notice to Proceed, begin demolition and renovation work on May 22, and have the facility ready for occupancy before July 31. Work prior to May is permissible in certain building areas if agreed upon by the owner and architect. At no point should mechanical, plumbing, or electrical systems be removed or disabled while students or staff are present in the building. Bidders must be properly licensed and able to obtain insurance and required project bonds. It is strongly encouraged for bidders to evaluate their current and future workload as it relates to the outlined project timelines. Addendum #1-#3 have been issued as of 12-1-2025.
